ANGELA GLAJCAR / TERFORATIONS

Galerie Philippe David would very much like to welcome you to the new exhibition, showcasing the work of German artist Angela Glajcar (born Mainz 1970).

Angela studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nurnberg under Tim Scott and became his master student in 1996. Since then, she received many international prizes. Her works are part of prestigious private collections and have been shown in renowned institutions such as MOCA Jacksonville, NASPA Wiesbaden, Gutenberg-Museum Mainz, Kunstverein Ludwigshafen, Museum Wiesbaden.

Philippe is delighted to present 23 pieces by Angela crafted between 2012 and 2019. The choice focuses on wall and ceiling hanging sculptures made of paper sheets. The 160 cm high by 300 cm long hanging sculpture will particularly fill up the gallery rooms. Price range between CHF 1’800 and 32’000.
